Company & General

Magnagraeciatradellc is an international trade and sourcing company founded by Vassilis Konstantinopoulos, headquartered in Athens, Greece. We specialize in connecting European, Latin American, and global buyers with premium-grade industrial, agricultural, and consumer products sourced directly from certified manufacturers across Asia (India, China, Vietnam, Bangladesh, etc.). We handle everything from supplier verification and quality control to logistics and documentation.

Our main office is located at Ermou 42, Syntagma, Athens 10563, Greece. While our headquarters are in Greece, we have partner offices and representatives in key sourcing regions including India, Vietnam, and China to ensure on-ground quality control and supplier relationships.

Magnagraeciatradellc was established in 2018. Since then, we have successfully facilitated hundreds of shipments across multiple industries, building a network of 30+ verified suppliers and serving clients in over 15 countries.

MOQ varies by product category:

  • Steel products: Typically 20ft or 40ft container (20-25 tons)
  • Rice, grains, pulses: 15-20 MT (metric tons)
  • Spices & dry fruits: 5-10 MT
  • Garments: 500-1000 pieces per design/color
  • Jaggery & honey: 5-10 MT
  • Samples: Available for most agricultural and garment products at nominal cost

Payments & Pricing

We offer secure and flexible payment options:

  • Letter of Credit (L/C): At sight or usance L/C for established buyers
  • Wire Transfer (T/T): 30% advance, 70% against copy of Bill of Lading
  • Escrow services: Available for large contracts
  • Staged payments: Customized payment schedules for long-term partners

All payments are made to our corporate bank account. We provide full invoices, packing lists, and shipping documents for customs clearance.

Yes. Because we work directly with factories (no intermediaries), we offer factory-gate pricing. Our prices are typically 10-20% lower than traditional trading companies. We provide transparent, line-item quotations with no hidden fees. Request a quote to compare.

Yes, sample orders are available for most product categories (especially agricultural, spices, garments, and dry fruits). Sample costs are typically 2-3 times the product value to cover production and shipping, but this amount is refundable against your first bulk order. Contact us to arrange samples.

We offer flexible Incoterms based on your preference:

  • FOB (Free On Board): from major ports (Mundra, Nhava Sheva, Ho Chi Minh, Shanghai)
  • CFR / CIF: to your destination port
  • Door-to-Door (DDP): full-service delivery including customs clearance — we handle everything

  • Production: 2-4 weeks after order confirmation (depends on product & quantity)
  • Sea freight:
    • Asia to Europe: 25-35 days
    • Asia to Latin America: 30-45 days

  • Customs clearance: 3-7 days depending on destination country

We provide tracking updates throughout the entire journey.

Yes, for DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) shipments we handle full customs clearance at your destination. For FOB/CIF shipments, we provide all necessary export documentation including:

  • Commercial Invoice
  • Packing List
  • Bill of Lading (or Airway Bill)
  • Certificate of Origin
  • Phytosanitary Certificate (for agricultural products)
  • Health/Safety Certificates (as required)
  • Pre-shipment Inspection Report (SGS/Bureau Veritas)
Quality Assurance

We take quality seriously through a multi-step process:

  • Supplier verification: We only work with audited, certified manufacturers
  • Pre-production samples: Approved before mass production begins
  • In-process inspection: During production for large orders
  • Pre-shipment inspection: Conducted by third-party agencies like SGS or Bureau Veritas
  • Random testing: For agricultural products (purity, moisture, pesticide residue)

Inspection reports and certificates are available upon request before shipment.

In the unlikely event of quality issues, our process is straightforward:

  • Notify us within 7 days of delivery with photo/video evidence
  • We will review the claim with the supplier
  • If confirmed defective, we offer: replacement, refund for affected items, or credit toward future orders

Note: Pre-shipment inspection significantly reduces this risk. All terms are clearly outlined in our purchase agreement.
